This is an interesting idea, yeah. If the supernode is under-weighted, then people can directly boost the supernode, which will implicitly fix the problem (the supernode is now worth more cred, because it was boosted). The new boosters will then be incentivized to get new edges added to the supernode, so the supernode receives more cred from its dependencies.
It’s not as clear how to deal with a supernode with highly inflated value. Should we have some sort of “anti-boost” or “short-sell” mechanism? Or we could have something like cred defenders that make a case to the community that a node’s cred should be slashed, and get rewarded based on how much cred they slash?
