As discussed in the [Discourse organization thread](https://discourse.sourcecred.io/t/please-help-organize-this-discourse/378/13), some things will require consistent and ongoing effort. These are like [Initiatives](https://discourse.sourcecred.io/t/about-the-initiatives-category/242) in that they require work and have a [Champion](https://discourse.sourcecred.io/t/about-champions-and-heroes/291), but they’re different in that they’re ongoing efforts. They’re never “done.”

Different things need different names. The term [Director](https://discourse.sourcecred.io/t/please-help-organize-this-discourse/378/15) has been suggested as it infers that someone is taking responsibility for a broader initiative and guiding it forward. If the SourceCred community (or [TBD](https://discourse.sourcecred.io/t/tbd-temporary-benevolent-dictator/376)) disagrees with the direction a Director is moving in, they can elect a new one.
